  • Speech and Debate Team

    The speech and debate team competes in competitions throughout the year, culminating in the Kentucky Educational Speech and Debate Assocation competition each March.  The team was formed in 2020 as part of the Academy Preparation Program.

    Accomplishments

    • 2019-2020 KESDA- Patti Bhandart- top 6th grader in storytelling
    • 2019-2020 KESDA- Madison Lambert and Katie Beth Boatman- semi-finalists in impromptu speaking  
    • 2019-2020 KESDA- Chloe Breeze and Jocelyn Davenport- semi-finalsts in impromptu speaking pairs
    • 2019-2020 KESDA- Chloe Breeze- first place in ad simulation
    • 2022-2023 KHSSL regional third place
