A HEALTHY FUTURE FAIR

Thank you to our business partners, staff and students for an amazing Medical Academy Showcase night! YOUTH SUMMIT

BSHS YSC took students to the Fayette County Youth Summit to work on brainstorming prevention methods in an effort to hear the voices of our youth leaders as they develop action strategies to inspire a more positive school climate. This summit addressed adolescent problem behaviors. The student will work on rolling out these prevention methods during the spring semester. 

BEBRAS COMPUTING CHALLENGE

Thirty IT Academy Students earned certificates of distinction for the 2019 Bebras Computing Challenge. Twenty seven earned honor roll status. Brandon Coupal earned the highest score at BSHS on the junior (age 14-16) challenge. Jett Pennington and Erin Kendall tied for the highest score at BSHS on the senior (age 16-18) challenge. Please congratulate these students for their efforts.

ADOBE CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE

Junior Munoz is the first student this year to pass the Cinematography and Videography ACA's!  He is officially Industry Certified!

Thank you to Mr. Harold González, electrical engineer, who spoke to our students about the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. He is the president of the Kentucky chapter.

ACADEMY SHOWCASE

Our Freshman Academy students explored their academy options for next year during a showcase hosted by our Ambassadors and other student leaders from each Academy.
