Our vestibular system acts as a CPU processor for our brain and is responsible for coordinating and relaying vital information to our brain from the following sensory inputs:

    • Inner ear
    • Eyes
    • Muscles and joints
    • Jaw
    • Fingertips and palms of hands
    • Facial muscles
    • Pressers on the soles of our feet
    • Gravity receptors

Working as our sensory processor, the vestibular system also helps regulate the following:

    • Blood pressure
    • Heart rate
    • Breathing
    • Digestion
    • Elimination
    • Speech ability
    • Muscle tone
    • Position of limbs
    • Attention and arousal
    • Immune system response

Scientific research validates that inefficiencies in the vestibular system can cause:

    • Academic problems
    • Speech problems
    • Anxiety and stress
    • Panic attacks
    • Self-stimulating behaviors
    • Poor muscle tone
    • Bathroom issues
    • Behavioral issues
