Our Mission

The mission of the Family Resource Center at Glendover/Julius Marks Elementary is to enhance the ability of students to succeed in school.  We work to achieve this goal by assisting children and families in meeting some of their basic needs and helping to eliminate students’ barriers to learning.

Our Goal

The goal of the Family Resource Center is to tailor the programs and activities of the    Center to meet the specific needs of the Glendover/Julius Marks Elementary students and their families.  As the needs are met or changed, other issues will be addressed. 

Our Advisory Council

The Family Resource Center has an Advisory Council that encourages involvement from various aspects of our community.  The local Advisory Council representatives provide     input into the Center’s operation.  The council membership is made up of parent, school staff and community representatives.

Our Programs & Services

The Family Resource Center host Family Literacy/Science Nights, Health/Childcare referrals; connecting parents with resources and much, much more!
