    • Explore issues of leadership, education equity, and race relations in America:
      • How public schools are affected by these issues
      • How these issues individually and/or collectively frame and implement policy
      • How are public schools, influenced by issues of leadership and education equity, how can both limit and advance race relations in America.
    • Provide opportunities for Carter G. Woodson Academy students, faculty, staff, and community members to participate in scholarly research and civic engagement
    • Define how connections between leadership and education can serve as a platform for affecting positive change
