Battle of the Books is a competative reading incentive program designed to encourage students to read a variety of quality literary works deemed appropriate for a particular age group.
Participants meet in the library BEFORE school (8:00-8:45 am) on designated Fridays (see below) beginning in September through May. While participants are NOT required to attend the Friday morning meetings, those who attend may have a better chance of qualifying for participation in the school tournament in April.
- Return permission form by Friday, September 13.
- Read the 15 selected titles- available at our school library and/or the Lexington Public Library.
- Write 24 practice questions while reading each of the 15 titles using the shared Google docs provided in our Google Classroom group.
