  • FCPS shares updates on meals pickup & P-EBT cards

    As a reminder to FCPS families, all meals are free for all students whether in the cafeteria or via pickup if still in remote learning. This federal waiver is in effect for the rest of the 2020-21 school year. 

    Eligible families also receive help buying groceries through the federally funded Pandemic-EBT cards, which go out to qualified students.

  • In Need of Food?  

    Immanuel Baptist will be giving away free groceries at both of our campuses on Saturday, March 20 from 10 am to 12 pm. Our locations are 3100 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502 and 2261 Armstrong Mill Road, Lexington, KY  Families may sign up on our web site (link is below) or by calling Lily at 859.685.3204. This will be limited to the first 500 families that sign up.

     The district’s Child Nutrition staff is modifying the meal distribution process as students in Fayette County Public Schools gradually return to their classrooms. Note the trimmed list of pickup locations and the expanded hours.

  • Free Hair Cuts

    The Lexington Academy of Barbering also known as the L.A.B located at 1132 Winchester Rd. Suite 175 will be offering FREE haircuts from 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m.and 1:00-3:00p.m. by appointment only Monday thru Friday.  Closed from 12 noon to 1:00p.m. for lunch.  Mrs. Yates and her students are so graciously offering this service to individuals and families that are in need.  Clients can contact the L.A.B and set up appointment 859-2231-1820.  

    What an amazing gift to provide to the Community and a great way to build partnerships during these trying times.   Thank you!
