  • BSHS Soccer Team

    If any student who is interested in trying out for the Bryan Station High School Boys Soccer team, there will be an informational meeting for Parents and Students on April 24, 2018 at 6pm in the Bryan Station High School cafeteria.  All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

    The Media Center and Gym are open!  Many staff members are at school helping with tutoring and providing physical activity for students today while our other staff are in Frankfort to support public education!

    8th Grade SIP students will have the SIP ISA Diploma Ceremony on May 18th at 5:30 -  6:30 pm for middle school students.  There will be an intermission with the high school ceremony following.

    KPREP Testing will be May 14th - May 18th.  Please plan doctor's appts around these dates if possible.  We will have make-up testing through May 25th.

  • Golf Scramble

    UK All-Stars Jack “Goose” Givens, Andre Riddick, Marquis Estill, Wayne Turner, and Erik Daniels, as well as more surprise guests will be in attendance!!  Saturday, August 25th , Tee Time @ 2pm.  Proceeds will benefit BSMS Student Council, PE Dept., Family Resource Center, and BSMS Success!!  Here is the flyer for more information.

  • Congratulations Cheerleaders!!!

    These ladies did it again!!!  They competed at Battle of the Bluegrass and won 2nd Place!!  Along with their 2nd place finish they received a banner as well as a partially paid bid to Nationals in Florida in April.  We are so excited!!!  Thank you all for your support in helping these girls be outstanding student athletes!!

  • Dream Lex

    A youth talent show will be held at the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center on Friday, May 11 at 7 pm.  Tickets will be Pay What You Can.  All proceeds will benefit youth organizations in Lexington.  Dream Lex will be open to middle and high school students.

  • Congratulations to BSHS Swim Team

     
    Congratulate Hadley Garrard, Crosby Nathaniel, Jade Stoner and Isaac Meek for representing our team at the high school regional meet this past weekend.  Issac was awarded with 7th place in the 200 freestyle relay along with his team members.  Crosby Nathaniel, awarded with 9th place in the 200 medley relay, swimming backstroke, and also individually placed 16th in the 500 freestyle and setting a personal best time.  Jade Stoner and Hadley Garrard were each awarded with 11th in the 200 medley relay and 10th in the 200 freestyle relay. Hadley Garrard also individually swam the 50 freestyle setting a personal best time and achieving 15th place.  Way to go Bearcats!  We are proud of you!!!

    Parents may check your child's Accelerated Reader account by using Home Connect. Email Melissa Brewer for your child's log-on information.  Students and parents may check the database to see which books are AR. The database currently holds over 200,000 AR tests.

    Box Tops for Education - Our school is collecting “Box Tops for Education” as a fundraiser.  Box Tops can be found on General Mills products, including Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Green Giant, Yoplait, Progresso, Old El Paso, Pop Secret, Ziploc, Nature Valley, and many others. Box Tops can be sent to the library or placed in Mrs. Brewer's mailbox throughout the year.

    We will have special drawings for great prizes throughout the year.

    Individual teachers hold thier own tutoring hours.  ESS Services are also available.

    Live Homework Help - Go to http://www.lexpublib.org/sites/default/dbforward.php?dbname=6761 for the direct link or go to www.lexpublib.org and  click on "Teens" or "Kids", then look for "Live Homework Help".  Spanish speaking tutors are available from 2-10 pm for science, math, and social studies.  English speaking tutors are available for even more subjects and more hours.   Tutors are available for Kindergarten through adults.  Tutor.com also has a paid service but going through the library is free with a library card.
