    Ms. Rice's Commodore Time Class

is inviting you to help out with their community service project soap drive! The soaps that you will bring will be donated to homeless shelters in Lexington. The soap drive will be held from November 1st to November 30th. Come take part and help us out! Just bring in a bar or more of bath soap. You can also bring liquid bath soap. Just put them in the "soap box" in the front foyer!

    Ms. Combs' Commodore Time Class

In 2017, Sweet Blessings made 2,730 birthday cakes for area children, and we need your help to reach even more kids this year! Please bring in your donations for Sweet Blessings from Friday, November 2nd through Friday, November 9th.

  • PBIS Store Donations

    PBIS Donations Needed

The PBIS store is about to reopen for the year. Students are allowed to use their PBIS points to purchase items from the PBIS Store. Any type of donations, mechanical pencils, candy, suckers, clothes, games, books, gently used purses, shirts etc. would be appreciated. Please donate anything that you think students would like to "purchase" with their PBIS points as a reward.  If you happen to be doing spring (fall) cleaning, and you are considering giving things to Goodwill, please check with the PBIS team to see if it something we can use for the PBIS Store.

Donations can be dropped off in the front office.

  • Boys' Basketball Open Gym Boys Basketball Open Gym

Open Gym will be available for students interested in trying out for the boys’ basketball team at Tates Creek Middle School. This is a great opportunity for students to perfect their craft and prepare for tryouts. Open gym will consist of drills and workouts to develop fundamental basketball skills. For any questions, please email Coach Morris. (emorton@omnivisions.com).

*Attending open gym does not mean students have made the Tates Creek Middle boys’ basketball team. Each student will need to tryout in December in order to have a chance to make the team.

  • My School Bucks

NEW for 2018-19: FCPS has changed from the MyPaymentsPlus online software program to MySchoolBucks. Current meal account balances transfer for August's start of school. Families will receive instructions on how to set up an account with MySchoolBucks. Then you can:

    • Check cafeteria balances and purchases
    • Receive alerts on low balances in a child's account
    • Set up automatic payments

Bank it: Deposits in any amount may be made to a student's personal account. While students still have the option of paying as they go through the line, advance payment will speed transactions and allow the lines to move more quickly. All students have personal accounts regardless of paying status.

Charge it: Students are encouraged to pay in advance for food purchases. Any child who forgets or loses his money may charge a meal. A letter will be sent to notify the parent or guardian, who then is expected to pay in full. If a student's charges reach the amount equivalent of two lunches and two breakfasts, a nutritious snack of a plain cheese sandwich and a milk will be provided. If a child has food allergies, other provisions will be made.

    Questions: (859) 381-3846.
