    Car Rider Drop OffCar Riders

     

    All students that are car riders need to be dropped off in the back of the building in the car drop off line. Coming from Eastland Parkway, turn on Martha Ct. to enter the back lot. Any Student that is brought to the front of the building before 7:45 will no longer be allowed to enter. Thank you!

    Transportation

    For safety reasons we will not take any transportation changes over the telephone. You must communicate all transportation changes in writing by 1pm. It must be in letter form or fax with the guardians signature; email is not acceptable.

    “It is paramount that our children arrive at school and back home safely each day,” said Commissioner of Education Stephen Pruitt. “While stopping for a school bus might be a minor inconvenience for drivers, the penalty for passing a stopped school bus can be severe. Drivers can receive a fine, but for a child, it could be a matter of life or death.

    Youngsters at Yates Elementary are learning that everyone is unique and that differences need not divide them. And during Autism Awareness Month, students with special needs have taken the lead to show how classmates all fit together.
