Today fewer and fewer people are preparing and eating meals at home, thus creating a wonderful opportunity for restaurants, hotels, and resorts, and for those individuals with Culinary Arts (food service) training. Our comprehensive program is popular with both male and female students, and our courses cover cooking methods and techniques, from basic to advanced. Our partnering with Sullivan University's high-profile culinary division allows our students to earn both high school and college credits for successful completion of the certification requirements.
American Culinary Federation accreditation and activities are an integral part of this program. Just as the rewards for completing this program are numerous, so too are its requirements. Two full class periods must be spent with technical courses, which means that the academic course requirements must be satisfied at your home high school.
How much will I earn? The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the national median annual wage for occupations in this area of study is $42,480. Find out more about these salaries here.
