  • Success Academy Return to In-Person Learning Plan

Fayette County Public Schools is preparing to offer in-person instruction for students whose families choose to send their children back to campus and remote instruction for families who choose to keep their children at home.

In collaboration with families and employees, each school will develop a school-specific plan in consultation with its School-Based Decision Making Council, aligned to the state’s “Guidance on Safety Expectations and Best Practices for Kentucky Schools (K-12), (Appendix A) and Fayette County Public Schools procedures.

  • Our newly adopted mascot is the Golden Eagle.  Our staff and students selected the Golden Eagle because of it's unique characteristics that fit the mission and vision of the program as well as it encapsulates the culture of our program. This powerful eagle is North America's largest bird of prey and the national bird of Mexico.

Golden Eagles (and its feathers) are highly respected and considered sacred within American Indigenous traditions, culture and religion. They are honored with great care and shown the deepest respect. They represent honesty, truth, majesty, strength, courage, wisdom, power and freedom.
