Hello! I'm Mrs. Switzer, a reading intervention teacher for grades K-3. I grew up in Tennessee (Go Vols!) and went to Lee University. It was there I met my husband, who brought me back to his hometown, Lexington, KY. I received my Masters degree at Georgetown College, was National Board Certified in 2009, and later trained as a Reading Recovery teacher. I learned so much as a classroom teacher for 10 years, but I have loved working with individual students and small groups to provide support they need in reading and writing. I have 3 little girls who keep me on my toes. I love to read, travel, drink coffee and spend time with friends and family. And I do root for the Orange and the Blue!
