  • Immunization Changes

The Kentucky Department of Education has mandated new immunization certificates beginning with the 2018-19 school year for every student in the Commonwealth.  New state laws requiring all students to be immunized for Hepatitis A and students 16 years of age and older to receive the Meningococcal ACWY (MCV4) vaccine created the need for new certificates for every student.  If you have not had a chance to take care of these new requirements, please find time over the winter break to obtain certificates for your students from your healthcare provider. Students not in compliance may be excluded from attendance, especially in the event of widespread illness.  If you are unsure if your student's records are up-to-date, please check with his or her school when we return to school on January 3, 2019.
