  • Congratulations Girls Who Code

    Congratulations to Girls Who Code who participated in the STLP Regionals at UK Student Center!  They will be going to state with their instructional projects in April!  Way to go Bearcats!!

  • Literacy Night

    Literacy Night is our next Title 1 Parent Night on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  We will hold our school-wide Spelling Bee on stage in the gym at 5:30 p.m.  Following our Spelling Bee we will have the book fair, games, and student presentations.

  • Scholastic Book Fair 

    Stop by the Library Media Center to visit the Scholastic Book Fair!  We will be open Nov. 18-22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will also be open during Literacy Night.  Do some holiday shopping with us! Thank you for supporting reading at BSMS.

  • Kendra Scott fundraiser

    PTSA will hold a fundraising event at Kendra Scott at The Summit Fritz Farm on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m.  All are welcome!  If you can't make it, you can call in orders.  As always, thank you for supporting us!

  • Boys basketball tryouts

    Boys basketball tryouts will be Dec. 9,10 and 11. Sixth grade starts at 4:15 p.m., seventh at 5:15 p.m., and eighth at 6:15 p.m. There will be two rounds of cuts. The teams will be finalized on Dec. 12.  Any student wanting to play must have a current physical and GPA of 2.00 to try out. If student makes the team, they must maintain 2.5 GPA weekly.

  • Help name the baby bearcat 

    BSMS students can vote on a name for a new baby animal on the Cincinnati Zoo's social media pages.  Help welcome the female baby bearcat to her new home in the Zoo's Animal Ambassador Center. Stop by and say hi on your next visit!
