  • Good Afternoon Stonewall Families,

I hope you and your family are doing well and continue to be healthy.  While the whole Covid 19 is having some negative effects upon many of our families, it is also having some real positive benefits for our families.  I have enjoyed see some of our families strolling by on bikes, walking dogs, and just spending time together during what used to be our normal school day.  I hope the stress that has been created is outweighed by the positive family time you all are getting.

Before we get to information about NTI days, I wanted to share some other information that may be really helpful to you and your family.

    • The school will be open this week, from 9:00am – 1:00pm if there are items you need to pick up.  We still have Chromebooks you can sign out, but you need to arrange that through your HOMEROOM teacher.
    • The school will be closed all of Spring Break so you will not be able to pick anything up during that time.
    • Check out the district website if you need additional information about anything. It can be accessed at
    • Report Cards were mailed today to all of the kids.
    • If you are having TECHNOLOGY issues, you may call 859-381-4410.  There will be technicians at the district who will be available to help you and your family.
    • You will continue to get daily emails with activities until Friday of this week (March 27).  Do not expect anything during Spring Break.
    • Please keep sending us the pictures of your kids working from home as those pictures make us happy!

Once NTI days begin (April 6), you'll be able to view your child's required daily assignments at this website:  On there you'll find links to each grade level, information regarding additional school services, and a place for your child to log their daily reading.

I am personally very grateful to all of the teachers who have worked so incredibly hard trying to make this difficult situation into a great experience for our families.  I also appreciate the positive feedback from our families as you all take on your new role as teacher.  Stay calm and work together.  Take breaks, take walks, eat ice cream, have fun…do not feel pressured to get everything done at one time.  While this work is required work, do it in a way that works for your family.

I hope you have a great rest of the week.  Wash those hands and stay healthy!

    Mr. G
