  • Spring 2021 Elections

    Ballots have been sent to your student email for you to choose your representatives for school leadership. You will vote for both class officers and student council officers. Class officers represent your class, while Student Council officers represent the whole school.

    Check out your candidates for the 2021-2022 school year on the Spring 2021 Election website.

    Voting closes on Friday, May 14th at 11:59 pm and winners will be announced on Monday, May 17th.

  • Keeping Chromebooks 

    If a student needs to keep their Chromebook past the last day of school they need to fill out this form.  In-person students need to come to the library anytime Mon, May 10th to get their Chromebooks labeled.

    PM Off Campus Students

    Attention Students who are off campus in the afternoon! When you no longer need your Chromebook, be sure to bring the Chromebook and charger to the library during the first 20 minutes of 1st or 2nd block today through Friday to turn it in.

    Chromebook Return

    All other students will be turning in Chromebooks during their B4 class. Ask your B4 teacher for details.

  • Graduation 2021

    PLD graduation is May 20, Rupp Arena at 6:00 P.M. Masks are MANDATORY for this event! We will continually be updating our webpage and the senior Canvas page with very important information and details. Due to restrictions there is limited seating All seniors will be given four tickets for family/friends to attend. The program will be live streamed. Tickets will be distributed at our mandatory graduation practice on Monday morning, May 17th at PLD. We will be sending out more details about this very soon. Check email, Canvas and website, regularly for updates! Questions should be emailed to Sarah Lubbe.

    Seniors, please complete this form to indicate whether or not you will be participating in the graduation ceremony on May 20th at 6 p.m. This form will close on May 10th.

  • Congratulation Class of 2021!!!

    In honoring what you have accomplished we are excited to showcase your “Decision” of what your plans are after high school! We have dedicated our glass hallway at Dunbar for your Wall of Decision and there is also the Virtual Wall of Decision. Check it out!

  • 2021-2022 PLD Cheer Evaluations

    NEW Athlete evaluations for the team will be May 17th 6-6:30pm at PLD.
    Only new athletes need to go through a tryout this year. Cheer packets are available in the Guidance Office! Email Donna Martin or Erica Music for questions. Thank you and go Bulldogs!!!

  • Senior Prom

    We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a senior prom this year, a Masquerade Ball! In order to make this possible we are putting in place several precautions. All attendees will be required to wear masks and have their temperature checked. Prom ticket sales will only be available to Seniors (remote and in person), but they are allowed to bring a guest- guests can be anyone age 20 or under, however if the guest is not a Dunbar student a guest form must be filled out and returned to the front office by April 9th. All Guest forms can be found here and are available outside of room 606 and in the front office. The event will be held outdoors for maximum ventilation and will take place at Dunbar on Saturday May 22nd from 8-11 pm.

    Tickets will be $25 per person, $50 per couple and can be purchased with cash or check (no credit/debit will be accepted). Please make checks payable to PLD.

    Tickets will be sold outside the main doors of the school from 8:00-8:20 AM and from 3:05-3:30 PM on the following days: Wednesday 3/24, Thursday 3/24, Friday 3/25 and Wednesday 4/7, Thursday 4/8, Friday 4/9.

    Remote learners will have to come during any of these times to purchase tickets in person as we cannot accept remote payments.

  • Tech help for families

    The district offers technical assistance with FCPS email accounts and Chromebooks. The Student Tech Support line, (859) 381-4410, is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Translators are available.

    Your yearbook needs your help! In these unprecedented times, creating this yearbook has new challenges this year. We need you to help us have a well-rounded book with as many students featured as possible. Please submit a picture or two of yourself so we can include it in the book.
