In the event that we return to in person learning in January, the plans for those returns are linked below.

Graduation 2021
PLD graduation is May 20, Rupp Arena at 6:00 P.M. All seniors will be given four tickets for family/friends to attend.
Seniors, please complete this form to indicate whether or not you will be participating in the graduation ceremony on May 20th at 6 p.m. This form will close on May 10th.

In honoring what you have accomplished we are excited to showcase your “Decision” of what your plans are after high school! We have dedicated our glass hallway at Dunbar for your Wall of Decision and there is also the Virtual Wall of Decision. Check it out!

Senior Prom
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a senior prom this year, a Masquerade Ball! In order to make this possible we are putting in place several precautions. All attendees will be required to wear masks and have their temperature checked. Prom ticket sales will only be available to Seniors (remote and in person), but they are allowed to bring a guest- guests can be anyone age 20 or under, however if the guest is not a Dunbar student a guest form must be filled out and returned to the front office by April 9th. All Guest forms can be found here and are available outside of room 606 and in the front office. The event will be held outdoors for maximum ventilation and will take place at Dunbar on Saturday May 22nd from 8-11 pm.
Tickets will be $25 per person, $50 per couple and can be purchased with cash or check (no credit/debit will be accepted). Please make checks payable to PLD.
Tickets will be sold outside the main doors of the school from 8:00-8:20 AM and from 3:05-3:30 PM on the following days: Wednesday 3/24, Thursday 3/24, Friday 3/25 and Wednesday 4/7, Thursday 4/8, Friday 4/9.
Remote learners will have to come during any of these times to purchase tickets in person as we cannot accept remote payments.

Tech help for families
The district offers technical assistance with FCPS email accounts and Chromebooks. The Student Tech Support line, (859) 381-4410, is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Translators are available.

Yearbook needs your pictures!
Your yearbook needs your help! In these unprecedented times, creating this yearbook has new challenges this year. We need you to help us have a well-rounded book with as many students featured as possible. Please submit a picture or two of yourself so we can include it in the book.
