Mr. Brett Ashcraft
Officer Ashcraft has been a Panther since 2019. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he majored in marketing. He worked for the Kentucky State Police, where he was assigned to Fayette, Scott, Franklin, and other area counties. He earned recognition for his work on the Governor’s Marijuana Strike Force and for his work in the area of Crimes Against Children, and developed the program “Growing Up Safe” in Scott County. Upon his hiring with Fayette County, he has been assigned at various high schools before being assigned to Edythe J. Hayes Middle School. Officer Ashcraft is from Louisville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Diane Bradley
Bookkeeper
Mrs. Bradley has been a Panther since 2006. Sher served as the school's attendance clerk from 2006-2016, and was named the bookkeeper in August 2016. She has served as our Food for Thought club sponsor, and her youngest son, Holden, was a part of the first sixth grade class of EJH. Mrs. Bradley is from Lexington, KY.

Mrs. Anna Dennis

Mrs. Dennis has been a Panther since 2017. She previously was the director for Kids R Kids daycare. Her oldest daughter, Brenna, is 2013 EJH graduate, and her son Michael, will be in the Panther class of '21. Mrs. Dennis is from Lexington, KY.

Mr. Sammy Hall
School technology coordinator
Mr. Hall has been a Panther since 2006. Beginning his career at EJH, Mr. Hall previously taught sixth and seventh grade math, as well as math intervention. He served as head volleyball and boys' basketball coach, winning district championships in both sports. Mr. Hall and his wife LeAnn, 8th grade Panthers, are the parents of Mark and Samuel. Mr. Hall is from Cumberland, KY.

Mr. David Hoskins
Principal
Mr. Hoskins has been a Panther since 2004. He was a member of the inaugural Panther faculty as an 8th grade language arts teacher and head football coach. Prior to joining EJH, he worked at Elkhorn Middle School as a language arts teacher, football coach, and intramural director. Mr. Hoskins oversees the language arts and science departments, and handles sixth grade management and discipline. Mr. Hoskins is from Hazard, KY.

Mrs. Kandra Larsen
Administrative assistant
Mrs. Larsen has been a Panthers since 2006. She has held number positions in the public sector, and worked as a substitute for several years in Fayette County prior to joining EJH. She has served as the school's professional development chair, and serves as everyone's "second mom." Mrs. Larsen is from Portland, OR.

Mrs. Tracye Nalley
Associate Principal
Mrs. Nalley has been a Panther since 2013. Prior to joining EJH, she served as associate principal at Shelby County High School and Anderson County Middle School. She was also a math consultant for the Kentucky Department of Education. She oversees the math and special education departments, as well as the MTSS program. She is also responsible for eighth grade management and discipline. Mrs. Nalley is from Versailles, KY.

Mr. Matthew Sherrard
Associate Principal
Mr. Sherrard has been a Panther since 2004. A member of the inaugural EJH faculty, Mr. Sherrard is a former sixth grade social studies teacher, and has served our school as head volleyball coach, track coach, team leader, and department chair. In addition he has served on the SBDM council. Mr. Sherrard overees the exploratory program and social studies department, as well as seventh grade management and discipline, and athletics. Prior to EJH, he taught and coached at Bryan Station Middle School. Mr. Sherrard is from Flaherty, KY.
