For Parents/Guardians

  • Academics is our focus!  Email is the best way to contact a teacher.  Conferences may also be scheduled with the team or with a specific teacher during their planning time.  Please email the teacher, team leader, or guidance counselor.  You can help by always asking your child about homework.  Students will always have independent reading to do at home.  They should be reading novels or readings assigned by the teachers (novels, articles, or assignments).  Melissa Brewer, our library media specialist, can help pick good novels for your child.

Each team has their own website.  Many teachers have websites with class information.  Many teachers will send home messages through Infinite Campus.

Infinite Campus allows you to follow your child's grades in all classes. If you do not have access to IC, please contact the guidance office at (859) 381-3296 or (859) 381-3288.  Students also have access and have their own logins.  We recommend students checking their grades each week.

    School rules for students

    1.  Keep hands, feet, and objects to self.
    2.  Use and model respectful language at all times.
    3.  Follow adult directions without inappropriate comments, questions, or delays.
    4.  No bullying (language, actions, or technology).
    5.  Do your best!

    Saturday School

We offer Saturday School most Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Some students are assigned by administration or teachers because of behaviors or for missing work. Other students may choose to attend on thier own to complete assignments or to use a computer or the library. Our program is not only a means for discipline, it is also a good way for students to progress academically when they need further assistance in any class. Please contact Antonio Davis with questions.

    Online safety

Help your child learn how to be safe online.  Students will learn digital safety each school year.  Parents/guardians should also teach, model, and reinforce digital safety at home.  Common Sense Media is a great resource and provides students and families with tutorials and help.
