2019-20 School Supply Lists

Please click the link below to open the school supply list for CME for the 2019-20 school year.  All grade levels are listed on this link.  Our special area classes (art, music, library, STEM and wellness) are not included on these lists.  They would be very appreciative of any donations or wish list items you could send as well!  Please send any special area items to the library in August.  Thank you!

2019-20 CME School Supply List

Congratulations to the CME Battle of the Books Team!  They came in 2nd place in the district tournament!

If you are interested in joining the CME Book Club in the 2019-2020 school year, or if you just need a good book to read, take a peek at the Battle of the Books List.  Lots of great choices!  These 12 books will be read by our Book Club and our Battle of the Books team will battle over these books in the spring.  Get a jump on reading and make this your list to read over the summer! 

CATS Club 2019-2020 Registration

Spring has just arrived, but it’s actually a good time to think about after-school care for next school year.  Clays Mill offers an after-school daycare program each day that school is in session.  It is a great value and offers care until 6 pm each evening.  If you are interested, open enrollment begins on May 1^st and applications are available on the school website under the families tab.  Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so don’t delay.

Future Problem Solving Team/Governor's Cup

Congratulations to our Future Problem Solving Team: 

Brilynn Nguyen, Addison Smith, Kate Overton and Madison Wilson

They won 2nd place in the DISTRICT and 3rd place in the REGIONAL competition.

Congratulations to Harper Hamman, Henry Cprek and Juliette Napier for their wins at the District and Regional Science Fair.

District Fair

• Henry Cprek - 1st Place Engineering & 1st Place Overall 4th grade

• Juliette Napier - 1st Place Earth Science

• Harper Hamann - KY American Water Award (very prestigious)

Regional Fair

• Henry Cprek - 1st Place Engineering & 1st Place Overall 4th Grade

• Juliette Napier - 3rd in Earth Science
