Bienvenidos a tercer grado

Hola, I am Rosa Cubero-Hurley.  I am from San José, Costa Rica. My small town is called “Mata de Plátano”  (Plantain Town), yes!!! there are many plantain plants and coffee in this area, the coffee grows in the backyards and land on the back of the houses.  I came to Kentucky with a Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Louisville. I have a Bachelor and a Masters Degree from the U. Of. L., as well, a bachelor and a Master degree from Universidad Estatal, Costa Rica. This will be my 24th year teaching. My husband is from Kentucky, his name is Kevin Hurley,  we have been married for 16 years. I have a daughter “Delia” and a son “Liam”, I love my students, I teach them, make silly jokes “laughs” and nurture your son/daughter. I am very excited to have your son/daughter in our rooms.
