FCPS response to the COVID-19 pandemic
District offices are open with limited staff adhering to recommended precautions; buildings will be open to the public again starting June 9 with necessary restrictions. You may call (859) 381-4100 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays (excluding noon to 1 p.m. lunch break). Interpreters are available.
Free meals for children
Starting June 1: During the state of emergency, many children lost their free and reduced-price school meals. Eligible families can now receive funds to spend on food at home through the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program.
Starting June 8: Individuals age 18 and younger may pick up boxed meals through summer break. Please help us do our part to limit social interaction and maintain social distancing to protect our students, families, and employees.
Children and families who need support from a mental health professional may call (859) 381-4100 to be connected with someone who can help.
Family Resource Centers and Youth Services Centers are also available by phone to make referrals and assist with basic needs.
HealthFirst Bluegrass can provide medical, behavioral, and dental health care for students and families throughout the summer. The school-based clinic at Tates Creek Elementary remains open for in-person visits. Please call (859) 381-3774 prior to arrival to ensure staff are onsite. The clinic entrance is at the back of the school building, at 1113 Centre Parkway.
