Lead custodian, Breckinridge Elementary

The tasks I perform on a daily basis are basic and fundamental components of life, much like the foundation that our students acquire at Breckinridge Elementary. A clean, healthy environment to live and learn in is something every child should have the privilege and the right to grow in. Flowers won't grow in contaminated soils, and neither can our children.

The staff at Breckinridge is dedicated to the development of Fayette County students, from the custodial staff all the way to the principal. There is no "I" in "team." All do their jobs to ensure that our children become healthy, active and moral citizens who contribute to society.

I love my job and the opportunity it gives me to offer each student compassion, love and a clean building of refuge, which I have given my own three children.
