Lead custodian, Tates Creek Middle School

I take pride in securing a healthy, clean building and campus for our 900+ students and staff.  My contribution to the FCPS mission is encouraging students to set goals for themselves and to reach their highest potential. At TCMS, all staff members challenge students to take ownership and pride in their school, holding them to high standards. I feel that life lessons can be learned through many facets of the school, inside and outside the classroom.

We are fortunate to have a wonderful, new facility here at TCMS, and I hope to motivate students and teachers to take pride in their school building. 

In an effort to keep our building looking great, I have implemented the “Tidy Titans” Golden Broom award. Each month, a classroom will be rewarded for helping maintain a neat and tidy campus. With the “Tidy Titans” award, we hope to get all our students excited about being involved in their school by taking responsibility for their surroundings and competing for the monthly classroom celebration.
