I believe teaching should be grounded in having strong and meaningful relationships with students. In teaching diverse children, each one has his own thoughts, beliefs, backgrounds, needs and attitudes toward learning. My goal is to find a way to meet each student's needs both academically and socially. Through truly understanding each of my English language learners (ELL), I can help them on their path toward becoming a successful member of their learning community.

I love to see my students reach a new level in their understanding and awareness of the world around them. Building relationships with my students and helping them meet new academic and social goals makes working with English language learners very rewarding.
