Staff Spotlight: Angela Outland
Business & Career Pathways teacher, Tates Creek High School

I believe every student is capable of learning and all students deserve a quality education that will teach skills needed to do well in the workplace and post-secondary education.
I accept that students learn differently in our society today, so I use real-world lessons involving practical activities that engage them. I also implement technology in our lessons using iSchool, email, the Stock Market Game, video cameras and multimedia software.
My method of teaching includes a lot of care, kindness, respect and patience. If students know that I genuinely care and support them in and out the classroom, they will make a sincere effort to do well in class.
