Paraeducator, Leestown Middle School

I have been at Leestown for 23 years. I worked in the SAFE room for 11 years and then moved into the special education paraeducator postion. I always wanted to work in education since I have a degree in social work.

I believe all children can learn. I love working with special ed kids and seeing them get excited when they accomplish a task they didn't think they could do.

Working in the education field and with children has given more to me and opened my eyes to all different phases of learning. My greatest desire is to make a difference in some small way in each child I work with.
