"The most rewarding yet challenging part of my job is being confronted with the task of wearing many hats. Each day when I enter the school, I am never sure if I will be called upon to be a friend, mentor, teacher or fill a number of other roles.

"One thing I know for certain is that regardless of the responsibility that falls into my lap for that day, my purpose is to have a positive influence in the lives of the children I serve. And I hope this positive influence is reflected in their social growth and academic progress."
