"Teaching is my passion! I was inspired by my first-grade teacher to go into this rewarding profession. Her lessons took me on new adventures where I discovered all the wonders of my world and, more importantly, I knew she cared about me. I strive to do the same with my students.

"I believe authentic learning occurs when students are confident that their teacher cares for and believes in them. Providing a fun learning environment enables my students to achieve the high goals I set for them and to take risks when faced with new challenges. It is fulfilling to me when my students make connections and achieve success as a learner.
