"I believe every student can and should be pushed to a high-performing level. In order for the student to reach his personal best, he needs to be nurtured in a supportive environment where there is cooperation and collaboration among the teachers, the principal, the student and the parents. All stakeholders need to be committed to success.

"Teachers must commit to lifelong learning in order to improve their craft and stay current in an ever-changing world. It is also important for teachers to find ways to engage their students in every activity through technology or some other hands-on activity. 

"More than anything, students need to have ownership in their learning. Students need to see the value in learning by participating in authentic tasks."
