Staff Spotlight: Andria Jackson

S.A.F.E. paraeducator, William Wells Brown Elementary

"My main role is to provide open-ended support to students and staff throughout our building. S.A.F.E. (Suspension and Failure Eliminated) provides students with the opportunity to continue their work in a quiet classroom setting and redirect their emotions. My mission for each student who walks through my door is not only to complete their class work but also to make great use of their time and return to class with a brand new attitude. Attitude is everything! A positive attitude is the key to creating a positive environment for kids to learn and be successful.

"In addition to S.A.F.E, I am the attendance clerk and head of the yearbook. This allows me to interact with students, staff and parents on many different levels. I enjoy all of my roles at WWBE!"
