Our school was built in 1965 as the final stage of the Tates Creek School complex, two years after the elementary and middle schools. A major renovation project was completed in 1993.

Our faculty and staff share a philosophy that is fundamental to providing students with a strong instructional program in a safe and civil climate. We have adopted a proactive approach to addressing our students' educational, social and emotional needs.

What makes our school special

In 2007, we launched the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, a comprehensive two-year curriculum that is widely regarded as the most rigorous and relevant college preparatory program in today's global society. Only a handful of schools in Kentucky offer the IB program.
