Squires Elementary School opened in August 1988. The majority of the students live within walking distance, making it possible for us to sponsor several after-school programs. We believe that children deserve a positive and safe learning environment and that all members of the school family deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. We also think everyone should have a chance to participate in the education of our children, teachers should offer quality instructional practices to all students, and the school should help families secure community resources that address academic, social, emotional and physical needs.
