Our school opened in August 1997 in the residential section of Beaumont Centre. The school was named after Rosa Parks for her outstanding contributions to society, including her stand on civil rights. Parent and community involvement are integral parts of our academic program. A well-organized PTA and active support from parents have been key to the success of Rosa Parks Elementary. Knowing that all students can achieve and succeed, the staff shares the responsibility to educate all students in a positive, safe and challenging learning environment where kids can develop into life-long learners who appreciate and respect individual differences.
What makes our school special
There’s just a feeling you get when you’re here at Rosa Parks. Our staff, students and families enjoy being a part of the Rosa Parks community, and it shows. It’s a happy place to be, and our kids enjoy their learning experiences here.
