Athens-Chilesburg Elementary was opened in 2006 as a replacement school for Athens Elementary. ACE, as it is referred to, combined 300 students from old Athens with 350 students from the areas surrounding the new building. All of these families came together to create a new school community where “excellence for all” is the vision.

What makes our school special

In addition to striving for excellence in literacy and math, ACE tries to stay on the cutting edge of technology. As the recipient of several technology grants, ACE offers two computer labs, a 15-unit mobile lab and two classrooms with one-to-one computing for students.
