About our schools
Fayette County Public Schools serves more than 40,000 students in pre-K through 12th grade. We have 35 elementaries, 12 middle schools, five high schools, three technical centers and numerous other academic and alternative programs. A group of administrators at "It's About Kids" Support Services -- school directors -- oversees all the sites.
We are committed to providing the best possible education and well-rounded growth experience for each child. Through Comprehensive School Improvement Planning, FCPS determines how to ensure that students reach proficiency and beyond. Visit Data Central to track our progress.
