Summer School 2008

Initial Credit Plato District Summer School will be held at

Martin Luther King Jr. Academy
2200 Liberty Road

First Session—June 9th – June 27th (8:00am – 12 noon) Monday thru Friday
Second Session –July 7th – July 25th (8:00am – 12 noon) Monday thru Friday

Transportation is not provided. Lunch is not provided.

Credit Recovery will be handled by each High School.
Please check with your child’s counselor for additional information regarding Credit Recovery.
 
District Initial Physical Education course will be held at Henry Clay High only
2100 Fontaine Road
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.

A student can attend either Session A or Session B from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to earn the required ½ credit in Physical Education.
Students will have ½ hour for lunch.  Students are responsible for their own lunch.

First Session—June 9th – June 20th (8am to 3pm)
Second Session—July 7th – July 18th (8am to 3pm)

Health credit will be offered by correspondence or e-school.
Please contact your school counselors for information.

Henry Clay students should contact their counselor for information on Health & PE.

Paul L. Dunbar High will host Physical Education & Health for PLD Students only.
Please check with PLD at 381-3546 for additional information regarding dates and cost.

Cost for Summer School 2008 for Fayette County students
(any student who attends school in Fayette County)
$160 per session—per ½ credit

Non Fayette County students
(any student who attends school outside of Fayette County)
$250 per session—per ½ credit

All courses with the exception of physical education will be core content online learning. Registration dates and registration forms will be available at a later date.

These forms must have counselor signature prior to registration.
