KECSAC supervises and manages Fayette County Schools teaching staff located at special, residential, and group home facilities for at risk youth located at the following sites:

- MASH Drop In
- Metro Group Home
- Presbyterian Community Services
- Elementary Day Treatment Program (Mary Todd)
- Middle School Day Treatment Program (Tates Creek Middle)

Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act
FCPS staff, you can now download 504 forms for your use.
Our 504 office:
- Coordinates district/school efforts to comply with Section 504 regulations including the training the administration and school staff.
- On an annual basis issues publication of Child Find Notice and distributes copy for posting to all district sites.
- Serves as 504 Committee Chairperson (Designee may serve as Chairperson determined by the appropriate by the 504 Coordinator).
- Reviews 504 Evaluation Summary if recommended accommodations require resources beyond the school level.
- Receives and reviews copies of all Section 504 Accommodation Plans Organizes and coordinates with school administration staff, transition of students with 504 accommodations plans to the next grade level of school.
- Organizes and coordinates with school administration staff, transition of students with 504 accommodations plans to the next grade level of school.
- Consults with parent and school staff regarding appropriate accommodations, resources, etc.
- Accepts and reviews Section 504 complaints, organizes and conducts investigations and attempts to resolve any concerns/complaints.
- Organizes district responsibilities for securing Hearing Officer and proceedings required to conduct a Due Process Hearing
