SCHOOL BUSES FOR SALE

The District has 23 surplus school buses and other assorted vehicles that it is selling on eBay world-wide auction. These buses were removed from service due to a safety recall by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) based on poor welds on the superstructure found after an accident in Florida. These buses have been inspected and found to be free of the reported weld defects; however, the District makes no warranty or assurances of defect free vehicles. These vehicles are being sold "as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied." An eBay search on "Classic Yellow School Buses" will locate these buses.
