Channel 13 to replay five graduation ceremonies

Channel 13, the educational television station in Fayette County Public Schools, will air the 2017 high school graduation ceremonies several times apiece. These events are not broadcast live from Rupp Arena.

Broadcast schedule:
  • Lafayette (commencement is at 4 p.m. on May 24) – airs at 7:30 p.m. on May 29, 9:30 p.m. on May 31, 7:30 p.m. on June 7, 9:30 p.m. on June 9, 9:30 p.m. on June 13, 7:30 p.m. on June 16, 7:30 p.m. on June 20, and 9:30 p.m. on June 22;
  • Paul Laurence Dunbar (7:30 p.m. on May 24) – airs at 9:30 p.m. on May 29, 7:30 p.m. on June 1, 7:30 p.m. on June 5, 9:30 p.m. on June 7, 7:30 p.m. on June 14, 9:30 p.m. on June 16, 9:30 p.m. on June 20, and 7:30 p.m. on June 23;
  • Henry Clay (12:30 p.m. on May 25) – airs at 7:30 p.m. on May 30, 9:30 p.m. on June 1, 9:30 p.m. on June 5, 7:30 p.m. on June 8, 7:30 p.m. on June 12, 9:30 p.m. on June 14, 7:30 p.m. on June 21, and 9:30 p.m. on June 23;
  • Tates Creek (4 p.m. on May 25) – airs at 9:30 p.m. on May 30, 7:30 p.m. on June 2, 8 p.m. on June 6, 9:30 p.m. on June 8, 9:30 p.m. on June 12, 7:30 p.m. on June 15, 7:30 p.m. on June 19, and 9:30 p.m. on June 21;
  • Bryan Station (at 7:30 p.m. on May 25) – airs at 7:30 p.m. on May 31, 9:30 p.m. on June 2, 9:30 p.m. on June 6, 7:30 p.m. on June 9, 7:30 p.m. on June 13, 9:30 p.m. on June 15, 9:30 p.m. on June 19, and 7:30 p.m. on June 22.

The ceremonies will also be archived and available through Channel 13’s Video on Demand service. In addition, graduates and their families may request a free copy: Simply drop off a blank DVD-R at the front desk of district offices, 701 E. Main St., attn. Linda Dawahare, or mail it to her c/o FCPS at 1126 Russell Cave Road, Lexington KY 40505. Please attach a note with your name, daytime phone number, and the event requested (e.g. Lafayette’s graduation).
