Fayette County Public Schools will host a surplus auction at 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 15 at 1126 Russell Cave Road. Items may be inspected at buyers’ own risk, and bidders may register starting at 8 a.m.

FCPS will accept only cash or checks with a valid driver’s license. Auction items include:

• Furniture such as student chairs and desks, teacher desks, tables
• Food Service equipment
• Cleaning equipment
• Cafeteria tables
• Snow blowers
• Athletic equipment

The surplus materials will be sold “as is” and “where is.” There is no guarantee the items are in useable and workable condition, and no warranty is implied.

Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removing all purchased items by 6 p.m. the day of auction. FCPS might consider an alternate removal schedule for bulk items or large quantities.
