Lexmark to reward teachers who INSPIRE

As part of its 20th anniversary celebration, Lexmark International Inc. has established the INSPIRE award to salute exceptional middle and high school instructors who teach science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM) in Central Kentucky.
One teacher per month will receive $1,000 to promote STEM education in the classroom. The winners will exemplify these key characteristics to INSPIRE: Innovative, Nurturing, STEM literacy, Progressive, Influential, Resourceful and Excellence.
Nominations may come from students, colleagues, parents, school administrators or community leaders. A committee of Lexmark employees will choose the monthly winners.
