Henry Clay leads all-city soccer selections

Henry Clay High School, led by Mr. Soccer John Manga, set the pace for Fayette County Public Schools in the Herald-Leader's all-city soccer selections, which are voted on by local coaches. The Blue Devils boasted three boys and three girls on the first teams.
Congratulations to all these student-athletes.
Boys' first team: John Manga, Henry Clay; Adam Allen, Lafayette; Austin Miller, Paul Laurence Dunbar; Addison Manley, Henry Clay; Matt Williams, Tates Creek; Connor Lakofka, Henry Clay; Jon Hurley, Dunbar; and Max Shier, Bryan Station.
Girls' first team: Olivia Max, Henry Clay; Rachel Geil, Henry Clay; Kajsa Brindley, Paul Laurence Dunbar; Destinie Graves, Tates Creek; Lindsay Elsen, Henry Clay; Kayla Willis, Tates Creek; and Rachel Roberts, Lafayette.
Boys' second team: Hesham Shalash, Tates Creek; Jaime Gullo, Tates Creek; Ryan Oppegard, Lafayette; Zach Campbell, Henry Clay; Cesar Delgado, Dunbar; Kerek Plummer, Dunbar; Nick DiMeo, Dunbar; and Evan Adams, Tates Creek.
Girls' second team: Lauren Duffy, Henry Clay; Abby Kovacs, Dunbar; Laura Westneat, Lafayette; Chelsea Gess, Bryan Station; and Megan Poage, Tates Creek.
