Dozens to perform in all-state choir concert

All-state vocalists in grades 5-9 will gather and rehearse during the Kentucky chapter of the American Choral Directors Association’s two-day fall convocation in Lexington.
Christopher Eanes, artistic director of the Cincinnati Boychoir, will lead the SATB group. Robyn Reeves Lana, the founder, managing artistic director and conductor of the Cincinnati Children’s Choir, will guide the SSA ensemble. KellyAnn Nelson, director of education and outreach with the Cincinnati Boychoir, will oversee the all-state children’s choir.
The students will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Saturday Nov. 5 at Porter Memorial Baptist Church (4300 Nicholasville Road).
Students from Fayette County Public Schools:
(SATB = soprano, alto, tenor, bass; SSA = first soprano, second soprano, alto; children’s choir in two parts)
