Fayette County Public Schools will host a public forum to gather input on its 2010 Wellness Checkup, which reviews nutrition and physical activity districtwide.  

The forum starts at 5 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 30 in Conference Room C of “It’s About Kids” Support Services, 701 E. Main St.  

The annual report also notes several goals that aim to improve overall student wellness, such as not using food as a reward and ensuring that each child has 30 minutes of daily physical activity.

The Child Nutrition staff will consider people’s suggestions when preparing an action plan for the school board in January.

Those who cannot attend the forum may share comments with Marty Flynn, program coordinator for Child Nutrition (marty.flynn@fayette.kyschools.us or 381-3837).  

The feedback deadline is Dec. 31.
