Winburn, Bryan Station High excel in STLP showcase

Winburn Middle School and Bryan Station High School led the way in the Student Technology Leadership Program’s regional fall showcase, with a total of nine projects advancing to this spring’s statewide contests.
Students from across the school district demonstrated technology skills in several categories such as digital art, music, videos, writing and interactive content. Several schools sent multiple groups to the Nov. 11 event, hosted by the University of Kentucky.

In addition, Chris Thompson took first place in the Archimedes penny boat contest, and Landon Williams won a Zune from Microsoft for second place in the Live at EDU competition. Both attend Dunbar High School.
