Students from across the district showed off their skills and accomplishments at the annual STEM Fair, which spotlights the use of technology to support science, engineering and mathematics.
Forty-eight schools participated in the Feb. 12 event, hosted by Bryan Station High School. The Student Technology Leadership Program projects included such media as videos, digital art creations, interactive content and technical writing. Some 60 showcases were set up in the cafeteria, and 14 schools participated in the LEGO robotics exhibition.
New this year were VEX robotics demonstrations, a digital artwork gallery and a gaming room.
Display tables also were set up by such community partners as the Kentucky Paleontological Society, the Audubon Society, the Living Arts and Science Center, and the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kentucky.
