Superintendent Stu Silberman, who took the helm in 2004, shared an informal “state of the schools” report at a Commerce Lexington breakfast Nov. 16. He highlighted various improvements and advancements in Fayette County Public Schools, including in these areas:

• Student achievement
• Facilities/construction
• 2020 Vision
