The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is providing clinics for physical exams to help prepare kids for the new school year.
Early Start children, kindergarteners and out-of-state transfer students must have a physical within one year before or 30 days after starting school. Sixth-graders must have a physical within a year of entering middle school.
The clinics are at the Public Health Clinic South, 2433 Regency Road. The exam cost is based on family income. Call (859) 288-2483 for a same-day visit, and please bring the child’s immunization records to the appointment.
