FCPS picks up statewide honors in OASIS contest

Fayette County Public Schools received several awards from the Kentucky School Public Relations Association as part of the 2010 “Outstanding Achievement in School Information Services” competition. This year’s honors, for work completed in 2009-2010, included:

Fayette County Public Schools:

  • 1st place, Miscellaneous public awareness programs: Kindergarten registration

Communications office:

  • 1st place, Brochures (full color): Customer service promotional
  • 1st place, Brochures (full color): Kindergarten pencil
  • 1st place, Special events: Calendar art contest and show
  • 2nd place, Academic achievement promotions: KCCT celebration

Communications office and printing department:

  • 1st place, Miscellaneous printed materials: 2010 Retirement Invitation
  • 2nd place, External publications (full color): The Collection: Celebrating Student Artists
  • 2nd place, One-time publications: On the Right Track
  • 2nd place, Miscellaneous printed materials: KCCT Invitation

Channel 13:

  • 1st place, Videos/PSAs or short subject: Trout in the Classroom
