Leadership Lexington Youth taps 34 from FCPS

The Leadership Lexington Youth Program exposes students to various segments of the community and shows them how they can make a difference in people’s lives.
This year’s class has 45 participants, including 34 from Fayette County Public Schools. They were chosen after a competitive application process in the spring.
From Bryan Station High School: Adam Kline, Stephen Parsons and Nate White.
From Henry Clay High School: Mary Chestnut, Virginia Hoyt, Kyvonne Lackey, Kelly Ren, Aula Said, Emily Stromberg and Eleana Thompson.
From Lafayette High School: Andrea Bahbah, Evan Chethik, Darius Clay, Jamie Harvener, Alexandria Jackson, Lauren Jacoby and Elizabeth Mirsky.
From Paul Laurence Dunbar High School: Clint Bacon, Shannon Bruggeman, Mitchell Cooper, Madison Gilinsky, Aneesha Laugani, David Miller, Todd Montgomery, Miranda Richardson and Clay Winstead.
From Tates Creek High School: Margeret Brenzel, Madelyn Culbertson, Savannah Dickson, Laura Greenfield, Jamie Gullo, Hunter Henrickson, Lauren Henrickson and Corrie van Gessel.
The participants, who gather one day a month throughout the school year, will interact with local leaders, talk about current issues, explore careers, and visit area businesses and post-secondary schools.
